Aston Villa have strengthened ahead of the new Women's Super League season with the arrival of Portugal international Diana Silva.
The striker joins from Sporting Lisbon and is Villa's third summer signing alongside Chloe Arthur and Anita Asante. The club gained promotion to the WSL in June after winning the curtailed Champions season on points-per-game.

The Blues were second in the table when the season was suspended in March, one point behind leaders Manchester City. But they had a game in hand which meant the two sides swapped places once points-per-game were applied.
