Fed Cup finals set for April 2021 debut
The Women's Tennis Association has confirmed the postponed Fed Cup finals will now take place in April 2021.
The inaugural 12-team event will be played in Budapest. Great Britain will miss out having lost in qualifying to Slovakia and now face a world group relegation play-off against Mexico in February.
If Britain come through that tie, they will have the chance to qualify for the 2022 finals. Defeat will see them relegated to the Europe/Africa zone.
