Coronavirus outbreak and travel restrictions make England friendly in France a doubt
The Football Association are monitoring the worsening coronavirus situation in France ahead of England's friendly in Caen on 9 April.
Lyon have already been forced to quarantine their entire squad, including Lionesses star Nikita Parris, and have postponed their Champions League quarter-final against Paris St. Germain.
The England squad could also be banned from entering the country if France is added to the government travel "red list".
The situation is a "concern" for interim head coach Hege Riise who wants the game to go ahead as part of her preparations for this summer's Olympic Games in Japan.
"This international window will really test our squad against some of the best in the world, which is crucial as we move closer to the Tokyo Olympics," Riise said.
Following the France match, England are due to play Canada in Stoke on 13 April.
