Premier 15s review: leaders pushed hard but maintain perfect start
Between them, Harlequins and Saracens have won all 15 matches they've played with a try bonus point in the Allianz Premier 15s. Only a postponed fixture separates the sides, with Quins five points clear at the top, but both had their winning records pushed to the limit at the weekend.
Loughborough Lightning opened a 12-point lead against Saracens but eventually succumbed to a 29-24 defeat. Quins travelled to Worcester and played in front of 400 fans, eventually scoring a fourth try late in the game to secure a 24-12 victory.
Wasps continued to push the leaders with a bonus point win of their own, beating Gloucester-Hartpury 29-17 to remain third in the table.
Exeter Chiefs continued their impressive start to a first-ever Premier 15s campaign, demolishing fellow newcomers Sale Sharks 38-0.
Bristol Bears were also winners, dismantling DMP Durham Sharks 50-3. The Sharks remain bottom of the table without a single point from their seven matches and points difference of -459, an average deficit of 65 points per game.
