Australia and New Zealand hopeful of hosting Women's World Cup
A joint bid from Australia and New Zealand is now firm favourite to be chosen to host the 2023 Women's World Cup after Japan withdrew its bid.
Colombia is the only other remaining candidate for the vote being taken by FIFA on Thursday 25 June.
With the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games postponed until next year, the Japanese FA felt it unlikely one country would be awarded back-to-back major women's tournaments.
Brazil had already withdrawn from the race earlier this month.
