Six Nations in chaos after Covid cancellations
Scotland's trip to Wales in the Six Nations has been postponed after several players were told to isolate following positive tests for the French players they faced last weekend.
Another Scotland player has also tested positive, which gave organisers little choice but to postpone the match. France's fixture against Ireland had already been called off earlier in the week.
It leaves England's Grand Slam decider in Italy as the only match still going ahead on 1 November.
A Six Nations statement said: "These developments have made it unviable for Scotland to field a competitive team against Wales."
"The Wales women players and management are understandably disappointed with the postponement but totally understand and wish all affected players a swift recovery," the Welsh Rugby Union responded.
"We look forward to rearranging the match as soon as possible and welcoming Scotland to Wales."
