Spurs stars sign new contracts

Tottenham have announced new contracts for Rianna Dean and Anna Filbey. The duo have both signed one-year deals with the option of a further one-year extension. 

Dean has been Spurs' top scorer for the past two seasons, helping them win promotion to the Women's Super League in 2019.

The England Under 21 striker said, "I just want to help the team and club as much as I can, master the number nine position and be the best that I can be - I feel I can achieve that here at Spurs."

Filbey signed from North London rivals, Arsenal, in 2018. Tottenham finished seventh in the league this season after the final positions were adjusted on a points-per-game basis.
