Women's Super League Round-Up: Spurs, Brighton and West Ham
With clubs back in training and the new season approaching, Women's Sport Daily rounds up the latest transfer news from the Women's Super League:
Tottenham
England striker Rachel Williams has joined Spurs from Birmingham City.
The 32-year-old joins initially on a 12-month contract, with the option of another season after that.
She will reunite with Kerys Harrop who also moved from Birmingham to North London earlier in the week.
Brighton
Manchester City's Lee Geum-min will spend next season on loan at Brighton.
The South Korea striker played in the 2019 Women's World Cup but found her opportunities at City limited last season.
“We’re delighted to bring Lee to the club, it’s a real coup for us to sign a player of her quality and experience,” said Brighton head coach Hope Powell.
West Ham
West Ham have continued to build for the new WSL season, bringing in their fifth signing.
Swedish forward Nor Mustafa joins from Eskilstuna United.
“This is a very big move for me,” she told whufc.com. "I am very honoured and proud to be representing West Ham, who are such a great club with a very big history."
