British driver injured in testing accident
British driver Katherine Legge has broken her leg in an accident during European Le Mans Series testing at the Paul Ricard circuit in France.
She was flown to hospital in Toulon and will require surgery on her leg, although a further injury to her wrist is not as serious as first thought.
Legge was due to compete for a new all-female team at Paul Ricard this weekend but the Richard Mille Racing Team have now been left with Tatania Calderon as their only available driver after Sophia Floersch was called up to drive in a support race at the Formula One Grand Prix in Hungary.
