Scholes makes Manchester debut in Thunder victory

Seventeen years after her father Paul first played for Manchester United, Alicia Scholes made her Manchester Thunder debut in a 60-27 win against Severn Stars in the Vitality Superleague.

The 19-year-old was one of a number of young players who impressed as Thunder hit top spot with a third consecutive victory. 

"Our youngsters are really stepping up for us," said head coach Karen Greig.
