Fans still allowed in to West Ham v Arsenal despite new coronavirus restrictions
Supporters will still be allowed in to watch West Ham Women against Arsenal on Saturday despite more stringent Covid-19 restrictions announced by the government last night.
Although larger test events - such as the horse racing at Doncaster - will now be back behind closed doors, the Women's Super League fixture still meets the new criteria for allowing fans into the game.
Up to a maximum of 1,000 West Ham Women season ticket holders are expected to attend the match at Dagenham & Redbridge's Victoria Road stadium.
At a community level, organised sport can still go ahead even though groups of no more than six people can meet up socially in England from Monday.
