England will have the chance to win the Grand Slam this season after World Rugby confirmed the remaining matches in the Women's Six Nations will be rescheduled.

The Red Roses beat Wales 66-7 at the Twickenham Stoop in their final match before lockdown in March, their fourth consecutive victory to leave them top of the table.

Their final match against Italy was postponed but will now be played in an international window scheduled for late October and early November, although exact dates are yet to be confirmed.

The Italians only managed to play two fixtures during the regular season as the coronavirus crisis hit the country hard in late February and early March. They are due to play Scotland and England at home as well as Ireland away.

Scotland are also yet to face France and Wales while Ireland's trip to France is the other fixture still to be fulfilled.

World Rugby announced an extended autumn international window will open on 24 October and run until 5 December. The outstanding Six Nations matches will need to be completed before a rest weekend on 7 November.
